Showcasing The Competent Nigerian DJ
When it comes to making hits out of new songs in Nigeria, we cannot take away the major part played by the Nigerian DJ. The Naija DJ plays the role of sampling hundreds of songs, deciding the ones that are most likely to become hits and then playing them constantly till the general public catches on. The Nigerian DJs are everywhere you go. They are on radio, on the internet, at the street corner and at concerts and parties.
This role played by Naija DJs cannot be over emphasized. They have helped to make stars of otherwise unknown artistes like Phyno, Adekunle Gold, Mayorkun, Wizkid, Olamide, DBanj, Reekado Banks, Sheyi Shay and many others.
The Nigerian DJ lacks a platform to be heard. Many of them are graduates who own blogs and sites where they express their perspective on society. There is so much the Naija DJ has to pass across which has now been made possible by the folks at mynaijadj website. You will get to hear their favourite music/mixes, read about their struggles and success as well upcoming shows, events and concerts.
So mynaijadj is the stop if you are a DJ from naija.
DJs can find out more HERE. Below is also another way you can share information on the site monthly.
Dear DJ,
Our site www.mynaijadj.com was created with a goal of providing great music for millions worldwide from the Nigerian DJโs perspective.ย We would be showcasing the Nigerian DJ, their art (DJing) and behind the scene activities.
To begin our working relationship with you, we would like you to send us a new Nigerian song you play most monthly. That is one song every month that you play most at shows, programs or at your personal time. We will put this on our site monthly with your details so fans can know songs their favourite DJs are enjoying most. You can also include a brief summary of why you enjoy playing the song and your professional opinion on its content, quality and prospects.ย Note that only new songs qualify.
Please email to send the song name, file/link and other information to is djs@mynaijadj.com
Regards
Mynaijadj Team
