Naira Marley To Sing Anthem for UAR
Naira Marley To Sing Anthem for UAR. UAR is the abbreviation for the United African Republic, the proposed new name for Nigeria.
News broke yesterday that the House of Representatives’ Special Committee on Constitution Review received a proposal by one of the committee members to change the country’s name from Nigeria to UAR, meaning, United African Republic.
The proposal was submitted to the committee at the South West Zonal Public Hearing on Wednesday June 2, 2021 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Naira Marley took to social media to announce his readiness to compose the anthem for the soon to be Christened country. What a joke, right? Or is the Marlian president serious about it. Maybe we should hear the one he composes for the marlian nation and then we may just maybe agree to his proposal. I mean, what is life without the excitements and thrills of new exploits.
