Mynaija DJ has for many years wondered why Gospel music worldwide has failed to stand at par with secular music in terms of success and acceptance by audience. We have decided to make a difference in this antecedent. One might want to proffer the defense of religion but we believe that part of success of any song is its ability to cut across culture, religion and language barriers. Nigeria has produced many successful artistes whose popularity is mostly within the church. I mean, Frank Edwards comes to mind as one of the most successful artiste out of Naija presently but does he have a Headies? Or maybe a grammy nomination? None!
