How to know a Nigerian wife material
In my country, Nigeria, It is believed that before a woman gets married, there are certain characteristics she must possess that will qualify her to be a wife, popularly called “wife material.”
Generally, there are different ideologies surrounding how a woman should act, either as a wife or a single lady. Some of these ideologies can be traced to tradition, culture, society, and even religion.
Here are some qualities of a wife, according to Nigerian society:
1 Cooking: a wife material must know how to cook!! This is one of the best determinat of a wife material according to nigerian mothers and men, she must know how to cook for her husband and must cook everyday to pass this stage.
It has become the duty of a wife and failure to meet this requirement means that you are not a wife material and werent brought up well

2. Clean: A woman must know how to keep her home clean without the help of her husband or a maid.

3. Pray: A wife must be prayerful; if you don’t know how to pray as a wife, then you are playing. This is a quality that most mothers-in-law look for. Some of them might even go as far as interviewing your prayer life.
Prayer is a very important thing in our lives, not only in marriage. This is what I support.
4. pill orange: personally, I believe pilling orange is a skill, even though I do not pass for this one. Can you pill orange? Funny, isn’t it?
5. Hard work: A wife should be hardworking; she should know how to wash, clean, bathe the children, go to work, come back home, and cook! All in one woman. Such a super mom—a woman who cannot do this—can’t be called wife material.
6. Materialistic: A wife should not be materialistic. I wish I could drop a laughing emoji here because it is so funny.
A wife material shouldn’t be caught demanding too much; she should be content with whatever her husband gives her.
If it’s not enough, she should manage. If she is not demanding, then she is good wife material; if she demands, it’s the opposite. As for me, I will afford my material things, but that doesn’t mean I won’t demand them from my husband.
7. Loyalty: A wife material must be loyal; she should be able to serve her husband’s food while kneeling down; she shouldn’t complain; she must serve him and do all he tells her to do.
This quality is heavily influenced by Nigerian mothers. A woman who respects and honors her husband, yes! But not going extreme and acting like a slave instead of a queen.

8. Pap: There is this food called PAP; both adults and children take this food. It is prepared by mixing the substance with warm water and then adding as much hot water as possible.
It is a 50/50 thing; not everyone is successful in achieving the end result of this food. Which is also a quality of wife material.
Since pap is a food greatly consumed my toddlers, Nigerian mothers expect you to be a professional in making this food so her grand child can be well fed.

These are just a few among many. A material is measured in yards, starting from 100 yards to 1000 yards. Do well to rate yourself from the start and know how much wife material you are.
